On the leaf before the title page is written “proofed” in the handwriting of the Hafetz Hayim, who as is known, proofread all his own works himself. Stamp of the Hassidic Master of Izhbitza-Radzin, Rabbi Avraham Issachar Englard.
Rabbi Avraham Issachar Englard (1909-2006), was the son of Rabbi Isaiah, the rabbi of Sosnovska in Poland, and the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Leiner, Hassidic Master of Radzin. In 1942, upon the murder of his brother-in-law by the Nazis, he ran and hid in the forests with his followers. He survived the Holocaust and returned to Sosnovska, after which he emigrated to the US and ultimately immigrated to Israel and settled in Bnei Brak.
