Chilling letter sent from the Conference of the Martyred Communities in Poland on 13 Iyar 1946, with a response to a relative of the Admo” rs of Kuzmir, and of Zvolen, and of Yablona and of Novi Dvor, who wanted to know their fate. ” We know that they were deported by the German murderers to the death camp at Treblinka in the summer of 1942.”
There is also a leaf which was attached by the Conference of the Martyred Communities in Poland detailing the names of all the members of the Admo” rs’ families that were murdered.
Sha’agat Aryeh [Munich 1947], the first book published after the Holocaust in Germany, the copy which belonged to the Admo” r of Schatz, Rabbi Ya’akov Yitzchak of Askowich, grandson of the renowned wonder-worker, Rabbi Shalom of Schatz, London, is also included.
