Tappuchei Zahav on the Torah, by Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Charif, Av Beit Din of Bonyhad. Includes a dedication by Rabbi Moshe Ganz, "Mesharet B'Kodesh B'Bonyhad." Primary disciple of the Gaon Rabbi Yehudah Greenwald, Av Beit Din of Satmar, and the right hand of Rabbi Moshe HaLevi Pollak, the first rabbi of the Orthodox community in Bonyhad.

The dedication's text: To "My beloved friend and companion ... exalted in Torah and pure fear of Hash-m, Rabbi Yisrael Hirsch of the children of Siebenburgen. When we learned chavruta together in the elevated yeshivah Bonyhad under the pious holy genius and saint ... Rabbi Yehudah Greenwald shlit"a. I gave him this holy book as a present. And he gave me the book Avkat Rochel as a gift ... Moshe Ganz son of Rabbi Shaul Tzvi. Tuesday of Parshat VaEra, 1895."

Rabbi Yehudah Greenwald of Satmar (1845-1920) served as Av Beit Din in Bonyhad from 1889-1896. He led Satmar from 1898 until his passing.

Very fine condition. Aging stains.
