Patriotic, copper Chanuka menorah with a mechanism that plays Hatikvah, the Israeli national anthem. Israel, 1950s. 27.5 X 27.5 cm. Includes a base for eight candles and a shamash at the top of a Star of David. The menorah is wound at its base, so that it can play the music. Tabs at the side of the base can be pressed to start or stop the music. A similar mechanism is in the Chanuka Menorah in the Ben Gurion Hut. Very fine condition.
Decorated Chanuka menorah. Tin-brass on a wood base. India, 20th century. 39×37 cm. The back is made of tin-brass on a wood base shaped like a Star of David. Small circles, in the shape of a sun, are embossed in the margins of the Star of David. The word “Zion” [in Hebrew] is engraved at center. 8 movable metal arms hold blue-colored, glass oil cups, shaped like half-circle. A non-movable arm above them holds the shamash. The glass cups are not original. Very fine condition.
Device for hanging Shabbat candles on a wood base. India, 20th century. 21.5×19 cm. Wood, shaped like a Star of David, attached to a Star of David made of metal with the word ‘Zion’ [in Hebrew] at center. A movable hinge attaches two decorated oil holders which were used for lighting Shabbat candles. Missing the cups. Fine-very fine condition.
A beautiful and impressive Chanukah menorah. Silver, marked, around 1900. Height: 27 cm. Length 32 cm. Width 15 cm. Weight: 1.64 Kg. The back on the menorah is tall and in its center an embossment of two lions holding on to the Tablets of Testimony. On the top a large decorated crown. A decorated rectangular base. Eight lion shaped vessels which open for oil filling. The mouths are pierced for threading the wick. On the side two lions hold a decorative chain. English custom stamps on the bottom. The ‘Shamash’ is missing. The oil pitcher is most probably not original. Fine condition.

Pair of large impressive Shabbat candlesticks. Hallmarked Silver. Western Europe, 20th century. Height: 37.5 cm. Base Width: 19 cm. Impressive decorations on the whole surface of the candlesticks. On the upper part of each candlestick there is a separate cap on which the candle sits, decorated with grape shaped decorations. Light blemishes. Fine-very fine condition.
