The Stephanus family was a noted family of printers from Paris and Geneva. Robertus Stephanus [Estienne] was also known as "Printer to the King"; the books printed at their press were noted for their beauty. Jeremiah's title page has been completed by an artistic hand. An additional title page to Jeremiah.

At the end of the book is printed the Latin-language privilege granted to the printer to print the book, with the date July 21, 1759. This is a different date than what is listed by Ginzei Yisrael - Mehlman Collection, 436. Apparently the first Hebrew book printed in Torino.
