Segulah amulet for livelihood and success from the gaon, the author of Yismach Moshe in the name of the holy rabbi, light of the world, the Besh"t ztz"l, which was blessed by the holy, pure hands of Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar.
Amulet published in Brooklyn, NY, USA by Rabbi Glickman, a scribe who first published this well-known amulet by the author of Yismach Moshe on stiff paper - which was a tremendous innovation in his time. He took the amulets he printed to Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar who blessed all these amulets.
Two certificates of authenticity are included with this lot.
1. Certificate from one of Rabbi Yoel of Satmar's gabbais, confirming that he was present when Rabbi Glickman z"l brought the Admor of Satmar these amulets and the Admor of Satmar blessed them.
2. Certificate from the recipient of the amulet who wrote on a leaf on which there is a copy of the amulet on its reverse, as follows: "I, the undersigned, confirm that amulet of the author of Yismach Moshe ztzuk"l on the reverse was purchased by me from one of the sons of Rabbi Meir Yisrael Goldberger, who was known as one of those who wrote Divrei Yoel by our holy rabbi of Satmar. He explicitly told me that the Admor put his hand on it and blessed it among 100 like it. It is known in the Satmar community of the United States that Rabbeinu Yoel of Satmar blessed these amulets. I bought this one forty years ago. I therefore sign, Rabbi Moshe Eliezer Pfeffer, rabbi of the Selish-Chertkov study hall.
Fine condition, signs of wear, pasted with old glue to preserve the amulet.

On leaf 1 of the book and on the first and last flyleaves, his stamp appears:
"Yoel Teitelbaum Av Beit Din of the holy community of Satmar and environs in the holy city of Jerusalem."
These stamps are from the Admo"r of Satmar's short stay in the Land of Israel, to which he arrived from Europe after the Holocaust. Extremely rare!
The holy Admo"r Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar author of Divrei Yoel (1887-1979), one of the outstanding rabbis of his generation, president of Edah HaCharedit and one of the leaders of the Chareidi community in America, one of the supporting pillars of the Chassidic world after the Holocaust, was born in the city of Sighet. He was son of the Admo"r author of Kedushat Yom Tov and grandson of the Admo"r author of Yitav Lev, who served as the rabbis of Siget and leaders of the Chassidism in the Maramures region. From his youth he was known for his marvelous genius, sanctity, purity and righteousness. After his marriage to the daughter of the Admo"r Rabbi Avraham Chaim Horowitz of Połaniec, he settled in Satmar and taught Torah and Chassidism to a select group of disciples and Chassidim. He served as a rabbi in the cities of Iršava, Careli and Satmar. In all the cities where he was rabbi, he headed a senior yeshivah and a large community of Chassidim. He headed the loyal, uncompromising community of Jews in the Maramures region. During the Holocaust, he was rescued on the well-known Kastner train and finally arrived in the USA via Bergen-Belsen and the Land of Israel. In the USA he established the largest Chassidic community in the world - Satmar Chassidism, which to this day is the most dominant community among the Jewish communities in the USA, and served as the president of the Edah HaCharedit of Jerusalem. He was the leader of those opposing Zionism and the establishment of the State of Israel. Alongside his zealousness and fear for the honor of the Torah and the future of faithful Judaism, he was known as a most benevolent person whose door was open to the poor of all Jewish sectors. He was a great gaon in Torah, responding to may halachic queries. Dozens of books were published from his compositions: VaYoel Moshe, Shu"t Divrei Yoel, Divrei Yoel, Divrei Yoel al HaTorah, and more.
The holy Admo"r Rabbi Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Teitelbaum of Siget author of Kedushat Yom Tov (1836-1904) succeeded his father, author of Yitav Lev, and was the father of the holy brothers Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum, author of Atzei Chaim, and Rabbi Yoel of Satmar, author of Divrei Yoel. He studied Chassidism with Rabbi Chaim of Sanz, one of the greatest tzaddikim of Hungary, fearlessly fought Reform Judaism and had many disciples. His Torah appears in the book Kedushat Yom Tov al HaTorah U'Moadim.
