Bchinat HaKabbalah, two sections with two separate title pages.

The first section contains two compositions: Sefer Kol Sachal, "Three essays by R' Amitai Bar Yeda'aya ibn Raz against the Oral Torah." And the book She'agat Aryeh, with a response to Kol Sachal, by Rabbi Yehudah Aryeh of Modena.

The second section of Bchinat HaKabbalah contains studies and comments on the two aforementioned books, by the publisher, Yasha"r [Yitzchak Shlomo Reggio].

Rabbi Yehudah Aryeh of Modena [1571-1648] was one of the rabbis of Venice, one of those who opposed kabbalah and the spiritual leader of those opposing kabbalah - the 'Darda'im' headed by Rabbi Kapach.

Yitzchak Shlomo Reggio - Yasha"r [1784-1856] lived in Gorizia and served as the rabbi of the town. He was one of the first maskilim of Italy and leaders of the 'Chochmat Yisrael' movement. He was the founder of the rabbinic study hall in Padua that was headed by his friend Shada"l.
