Elucidations and novellae on the Piskei HaRosh on Moed and Nashim, by Rabbi Netanel Weil, Av Beit Din of Karlsruhe, 8th generation descendant of the Mahar"i Weil.

Specifications: [2] 148 [3] leaves. 32 cm. First edition.

Unique features: Rare, impressively illustrated title page, unique to this work.
On the last leaf, the author explains how to resolve difficulties without the use of "pilpul", by clarifying the correct text. One of his examples refers to a Talmud on parchment in Pfersee, now known as the "Munich Manuscript". The "Dikdukei Sofrim" based his work on this manuscript, and it seems that the Korban Netanel was the first of the "Achronim" to use this Talmud as well.

Background: In this work, the author completes the works of the Tosfot Yom Tov on the Piskei HaRosh Pilpula Charifta and Maadanei Yom Tov, which were composed on all other sedarim. His psakim on the Moed and Nashim were left without commentary. The work opens with the Klalei HaRif, Rosh and Tur.

Condition: Very fine. Minimal aging stains.
