Letter handwritten and signed by the gaon Rabbi Mordechai Jaffe Schlesinger, 13 Sivan, 1973.

Letter of blessing to Rabbi Eliyahu Sternbach "great adjudicator of Kehillat Yereim, Antwerp" and his wife, the rebbetzin, on the occasion of their daughter's marriage. He blesses them: "May it be the will of our Father in heaven that their pairing ascend beautifully in the merit of their holy forefathers, lights of the generations ... and because of the fathers, the children will be saved, may they see salvation and success in all they do ..."

Rabbi Mordechai Jaffe Schlesinger [1909-1998] was Av Beit Din of Eisenstadt, and after immigrating to Israel, he disseminated Torah in the Etz Chaim yeshivah and was the rabbi of the Chug Chatam Sofer community in Tel Aviv and a member of Agudat Yisrael's Council of Torah Sages.
