Rabbi Moshe Mintz: Born in 1750, he was a student of Rabbi Meshulam Igra, married a woman from Brod and settled there, and from there he corresponded with the author of the Noda B'Yehuda who praised him enthusiastically (see Responsa Noda B'Yehuda Even HaEzer 23 at the beginning of the responsa and at its end). From 1790 he served as rabbi of Oiven-Yashan where he served for over 40 years until his death in 1831. The Responsa Maharam Mintz was printed (Prague, 1827) from his works.
