Poster regarding the designation of a "Taanis Dibbur" [day of no-speech], and additional behaviors for the High Holidays of 1944, issued by the Kehal Yireim beit din in Budapest. Budapest, Elul [1944]. [1] leaf, 20x28 cm, printed by stencil. Poster advocating instituting a "Taanis Dibbur" in synagogues, since they were undergoing trying times. The beginning of the poster discusses the concept of "Taanis Dibbur" at length. In addition, four unique behaviors were instituted, including the inclusion of the word "Serufim" in the Avinu Malkeinu prayer. Unknown, historic poster. Very fine condition, matted.
