Handsome engraving by Richard Blum, painted soon after printing. England [1689].

A bird's eye view of the walled city of Jerusalem and the Temple is at the painting's center, with the caption: Jerusalem. To the right and left are a pair of angels, holding a scroll with titles of the places corresponding to the reference numbers scattered throughout the city. A view of the facade of King Solomon's Temple is at the top. Surrounding this, squares depicting the vessels used in the Temple: the Ark of the Covenant with the Cherubim, the table of showbread, the altar, the copper laver, the curtains, the menorah, the high priest in priestly garb, and the lay priest.
