Children's book for learning the Hebrew alphabet, principles of Judaism and mitzvahs. With many pictures by Ruby Reeves on the topic of the ten commandments, arba kanfot, the synagogue, birkat habanim, Shabbat day, Chanukah, tzitzit, kashrut, and more.

Stains. Tears in the binding and on the preface page. Wetness stains, stippling from the printing. Colored scribbles on some pages.

Der Goldener Oparplane [Golden Airplane] written and illustrated by Yosef Tunkel, Warsaw 1914. First edition.
The author Yosef Tunkel [1881-1949]. Author, writer, poet, and cartoonist in Yiddish, a native of Belarus, mainly active in Poland and America, his pen name was 'Der Tunkeler' - the dark one, in an attempt to conceal his name. [Like in the book before us: "Written and illustrated by the dark one"], his literary style is considered a successor to the author 'Shalom Aleichem'. He was miraculously saved during the Holocaust when he escaped from the detention camp in Strasbourg and fled to America.

* Chag Ha'Or, poems by Levin Kipnis, illustrations by Isa Hershkovitz. All of the book's leaves are in the shape of a dreidel. Colored, full page illustrations.
* Hashlaya B'Beit Hakosem, a Swiss legend, Hebrew by Binyamin Friedman published by Yehoshua Chichik, Tel Aviv.
* Yom Huledet Charuzim [Birthday Rhymes] by Shimshon Chalafi, illustrations by Ilse Kantor, published by "Kiryat Sefer" Jerusalem. Does not appear in the National Library.
* Gozali L'Yaldei HaGan, complied and arranged by Bella Baram, published by A. Luisada, the binding and the seven colored pictures were drawn by Lipman Rothschild. Published by Misdar.
* Muki HaShovav by Yemima Chernovich. Illustrations by Genia Berger.

In the introduction of the book, the authors write:"The main reason for writing this book is the lack of practical Hebrew books that will suffice the Hebrew who is in the diaspora... without needing a foreign language. Books that "Hebrewize" his internal and external lives without the need to poison the language with foreign terms..." There are many illustrations at the end of the book.

Children's schoolbook including chapters about the national movement in Israel, many photographs of Jewish institutions, Zionist leaders, Ephraim Moshe Lilien's illustrations and more. At the back of the book, there is a memorial page in memory of those killed in the Holocaust, "In the days of the second world war, under the Nazi occupation, there were 8,301,000 Jews. In the years 1939-1945 5,978,000 Jews were destroyed in sanctification of G-d's name. 72% of European Jewry was destroyed. May their souls be bound up in the bonds of everlasting life."

Shneim Asar Tavim L'Yaldei Yisrael, Tza'adim Rishonim B'Musika [Twelve notes for Israeli children, first steps in music] - a work for children in an album edition with colored plates pasted among the leaves by Miriam Zilberman, illustrations by Iza Hershkowitz, published by the Center of Education and Culture of the General Worker's Union. Tel Aviv, 1948.
A music-nationalistic picture book to teach 5-8 year old children to play the piano. The author did not intend to teach the piano in a through manner, rather to introduce the children to the world of music through games which serve as an assistant to the traditional instructions. The author enlisted the famous illustrator Iza Hershkowitz for this purpose. The author and illustrator created associative works for the significance of the music notes in color, rhyme and pictures.
Illustrated plates were pasted between the book's leaves according to the topic of the songs. A complete album with all 12 plates.
Stains on the cover.
Fine condition.
A board game "les deux raids magnifiques de l'avion alsa" [two magnificent raids of an alsa airplane], with instructions in French on the rear side. A winding path which marks the airplane's route from France to Madagascar in India, with relevant places to stop.
