Zecher Tzaddik - a memorial book for Rabbi Naphtali Hirz Wessely by David Tzvi Hirsch Friedrichsfeld. Proops Katz Press.

Naphtali Hirz Wessely [1725-1805] was a Hebrew linguist and poet, a patriarch of the Jewish Enlightenment movement. His composition Divrei Shalom VeEmet ignited the first battle in the history of the war over the Jewish culture. The book of poems he authored about Moses, Shirei Tiferet, influenced several subsequent generations of poets, and some scholars see him as the pioneer of modern Hebrew literature.
