A letter signed with the handwritten signature of Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky, dated: Elul 5729 [August 1969]. Rabbi Abramsky signed the letter as “The president of the National Center for Family Purity in Israel”. The letter itself is typewritten, and is really a ‘Kol Koreh’ to “Our Jewish brethren wherever they may be”. In the letter he asks that they assist Rabbi Yosef Yehoshua Friedman in his mighty actions in increasing holiness and purity in the Jewish people, in order for him to succeed on his mission when he travels to the Diaspora despite his advanced age, and to take action and motivate others to act for the benefit of the organization, which is in dire straits. Rabbi Yechezkel Abramsky [1886-1976], author of ‘Chazon Yechezkel’, Rosh Yeshiva of Slabodka in Bnei Brak, and one of the heads of the Va’ad HaYeshivot.
