Background: Rabbi Menachem son of Rabbi Binyamin Recanati was one of the great early kabbalists [1250-1310] who lived during the time of the Rashba. He was one of the first Italian kabbalists, as well as a significant adjudicator. The Beit Yosef [Orach Chaim, 651] quotes from the book about what the author saw in a dream regarding the four species, and rules halacha based on it.
Unique Features: Glosses in ancient handwriting. Second edition of the well known book of kabbalah from the kabbalist Rabbi Menachem Recanati. With additions and indexes not found in the first edition.
Condition: Fine. Stains, worming holes in the margins of isolated leaves. Magnificent leather binding.
