The two brothers, Rabbi Ahron of Belz and Rabbi Mordechai of Bilgoray, were rescued from the Holocaust. Widowed during the war, Rabbi Mordechai remarried in 1946 in Petach Tikva. His brother made a historic visit to the city that lasted a few days. His only son is the current Admor of Belz shlit”a.
