Lindo is presented as the “third daughter of David Abarbanel Lindo” and the book is dedicated to Sir Moshe Montefiore.
The first page of the book contains a lithograph of the Lindo’s father, David Abarbanel Lindo.
Abigail Lindo (1803-1848) was one of David Abarbanel Lindo’s 18 children, and related to Moshe Montefiore, to whom she dedicated her book.
