Rabbi Dovid Borenstein (1876-1943) was the son of the “Shem M’Shmuel’ who served as Rabbi of Vishgorod, Poland and then from [1926] as Admor in Sochatchov, Poland. During the Holocaust, he greatly encouraged the residents of the Warsaw Ghetto, and he passed away there from a stroke. Sections of his Torah were printed in “Chasdei Dovid” and “Neot Desha”. His letters are rare.
