First edition of the commentary of the Alshich, which was published shortly after his death by his son Rabbi Chaim Alshich and his disciple Rabbi Yitzchak Gershon. At the end of the book are five woodcuts which depict the events of the Purim story: Mordechai, Ahasuerus, Esther in the form of an angel with a sword in her hand, Haman, and a large woodcut of a Jewish family enjoying the Purim feast.
