‘Mizrach’ sign which includes a calendar for the year 5675 (1914-15), festive, colorful, decorated and stylized, which apparently served as a gift carried by emissaries as tribute to donors when they traveled from the old Yishuv abroad to raise funds for the settlers of the Land.
The ‘Mizrach’ is within a frame with colorful decorations. The printed text is also in colorful lettering.
There is a stamp of ‘HaVa’ad HaKlali’ of the members of the Romanian community in Jerusalem, Safed and Tiberias on the ‘Mizrach’: ‘ועד הכללי לבני ראמעניען ירושלים צפת טבריא תובב”א בשלש ארצות החיים.’
