Bust of Joseph, emperor of the “Holy Roman Empire” on the front of the coin. The reverse depicts a rabbi, catholic priest and protestant priest, topped by the emblem of an eagle and G-d’s name and Latin text, ‘we rest underneath His wings’. This commemorates the charter of religious toleration that the emperor issued in 1781. Mark of a hole for hanging. VF.
