Notes the era of each sage throughout the generation, the works he authored, and his biography as transmitted from previous generations. This book is the exclusive source for rich information regarding the history of the Jewish nation.The author was a direct descendant of Rabbi Shlomo Luria, Rashi, Rabbi Yochanan HaSandler, and Rabbi Gamliel HaZaken. He writes about his lineage on the title page of the work and writes at length about unknown historical facts – particularly regarding his forefather Rashi – Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki.
