Shulchan Aruch, Choshen Mishpat part two, Furth edition [1692], with around 100 handwritten glosses, most of them by Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil Ber.

The identity of the writer of the comments and a list of the glosses was written by hand on a leaf which was added to this book, most likely thirty years ago. In the book are a number of stamps of the rabbis of the Zilberman family of Safed, as well as the handwriting of Rabbi Yosef HaLevi who lived in Safed between the years 1890-1911.
Rebbe Shmuel Zanvil Ber ben Rabbi Yitzchak of Linsk was av”d of Litovisk and Istrik and a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin and the Maggid of Kozhnitz. He left behind a long work on the Talmud which was never published. His novellae on page 70 of Ketubot are quoted in the book Smuchim L’Olam [Lemberg, 1901] on page 44. He was a Rebbe and thousands of people flocked to him from all over Galicia. He died on July 28, 1837. His descendants immigrated to Israel and settled in Safed.

The book is not bound. The title page and the first few leaves are missing. Some of the leaves are damaged, with no significant damage to the comments. Faded. Moderate condition.
