Rabbi Shlomo Zvi Schick [1844-1916], known as the Rabbi of Karcag was one of the most important Hungarian Rabbis. He authored the Siddur Rashban as well as sermons in Hungarian and German. Even those who disagreed with his approach regarding the separation of the the communities, still acknowledged his greatness.
