A complete set of the Babylonian Talmud with the Rif’s commentary. At the beginning of each volume are two title pages, some of them in red ink. An important and sought-after edition of the Talmud, printed by the righteous rabbis of the Shapira family.
This is a complete set, twenty volumes with original magnificent leather bindings. Some of them were reinforced with leather straps, and in some the spine was professionally reinforced. A few aging stains. The title pages and leaves of the tractates are in fine-very fine condition.
It is rare to find a set such as this with no supplements and in this condition.
