Includes sermons for the Shabbatot on which the rabbis deliver sermons to the community: Shabbat HaGadol, Shabbat Teshuva, Shabbat Zachor, in addition to sermons for Passover, circumcisions, weddings and eulogies for Torah greats and a few novellae on Torah and kabala.
In his sermons, the Rabbi integrates Halachic novellae and responsa, and it is clear that he was extremely well-versed in the literature of the responsa of Sephardic rabbis. See Hebrew catalogue text for a list of sermons that feature some details.
The large leaf features novellae on gemara/peirush/tosfot and shu”t, including a question regarding a slaughterer from Damascus and a response regarding a divorce delivered without the consent of the wife.
The front section of the binding is missing. A number of leaves are blemished. Most of the leaves are legible and in very fine condition.
