18 . Three Rare Early Books of Poetry

Three rare books of songs. Various locations. 1930's-40's. 

* Shiron Shomrei -  a collection of poems in Hebrew published by Charishot Amukot - the central cooperative of the "HaShomer HaTzair" federation in Argentina. Circa 1930's. Dozens of Zionist songs, patriotic songs, some unknown. Stencil print. Illustrated binding. [2], 150 pages. 16 cm. 

* Shir V'Zemer L'Poalei Binyan. Published Yifat-Sifra, inscriptions and drawings by Avigdor Muller. Songs and black and white photographs of construction workers in the Land of Israel. Circa 1940's. 

* Hava Neranana... published by the Federation 1935. A booklet of patriotic songs in Hebrew and Dutch. The booklet begins with the song Hatikva by Naftali Hertz Imber which ends with the words "To return to our fathers' land to the city where David encamped." The title page and pages 17-24 are missing. 

The three books are rare and do not appear in the National Library.
