The author was born in שילעל Lithuania and moved to America in 1894. He was the Rabbi of Toledo, Ohio. He authored a number of books regarding Jewish life in America.
This is a unique work with names of notable American Jewish personalities, successful businessmen and others. The author dedicated one full page to each personality, with their date of death and words of praise. It is possible that family members paid the author for this memorial page about their loved ones. Valuable, historic work.
This book is not in most known libraries. It listed bibliographically according to a private collection and the Ohio Library. Not in the National Library. Very rare.
