Historical Lexicon of Jewish Graves in Denmark with Pictures. Private Edition. Denmark. 1985. [20] 699 pages. Comprehensive historical work of Elias Levin of all the Jewish graves in Denmark between the years 1693-1976. The work contains hundreds of photos of gravestones and information that includes the years of the life of the deceased, date of death and the writing on the gravestones. The condition of some of the gravestones required comprehensive research work in order to reveal these details. The book was published by the private publishing of Levin in a few copies. Due to the importance of the work, includes approbations by the Chief Rabbi of Denmark, HaRav Melchior, and the Danish Royal Library. In very good condition. Rare.

Second edition of collection of the greatest researchers of the Hebrew Grammar, in Latin, by Hadriani Relandi, (1676-1718) Dutch researcher and philologist. He was one of the first that was active in the research of the East who greatly influenced the early geographical research of the Land of Israel. The books contain rules of Latin research (Christian) about the Hebrew and Rabbinical language and a translation into Latin of the commentaries of Rabbis that were involved with grammar such as Rashi and the Radak. This edition is not found in the National Library. The full name of the collection is: Hadriani Relandi Analecta rabbinica : comprehendentia libellos quosdam singulares, & alia quae ad lectionem & interpretationem commentariorum rabbinicorum faciunt : in usum Collegii rabbinici : Singula post praefationem indicantur. The books are bound in a splendid semi leather binding with golden letters within a matching box. The title page of the fourth book was mistakenly bound within the third book. Apart from a few strengthened leaves all of them are in very good condition. Extremely rare.
Book of the Customs of the Jews, Las costumbres de los Israelitas, Spanish. 1769. [61] 200 pages. Important book about the customs of the Jews and Bible stories. Originally written in French and translated into Spanish in the year 1769. Due to its historical importance, the book recently underwent digitization for preservation by the Universities of Harvard and Princeton and was printed again as a facsimile copy. It appears that this is the earliest edition of the book which has been preserved. The signature on the book testifies that this edition of the book was sent by a Jew from Florence to his sister in Eretz Yisrael in the month of Av, in the year 5697 (1937). Old parchment binding. In good condition.

The book includes an introduction and index. Petrus Artopoeus is the fabricated name of Peter Becker (1491-1563) a German theologist, disciple of Martin Luther, who was affiliated with the Christian Reform Movement. Because of his philosophies he was expelled from the Priesthood, declared a hereticand his works were burned. Old fancy leather binding with the title of the book in gold letters. Binding damaged in corners. Tears on the first two pages without loss to the text. Remaining pages in very fine condition.

The bond was issued in order to raise 400 zehuvim from forty different lenders. Includes details how the money will be repaid. The bond was printed and also includes the handwritten number of the bond [31], and the signatures of the heads of the company and the stamp of the company. Includes a long handwritten letter from the company’s scribe describing the bond. Very fine condition.

These leaves are a summary of Goldberg’s lectures relating to Renaissance Literature which were given within the framework of the College of Completions (Machon Hashlamot) in Humanities and Social Sciences and the Story of Language, a branch of the Hebrew University in Tel Aviv. The leaves include handwritten completions and comments and deletions, all of which appear to be in Goldberg’s handwriting, possibly just before printing the materials. In good condition.
