Megillat Esther Hamelech on parchment with colorful decorations and illustrations. 20th century. Height of parchment 10 cm. approx. 4.5 meters long. 8 strips, 11 lines. Nice Ashkenazi scribal print. Ink on parchment. Each column begins with word the word Hamelech. The writing and illustrations were designed to match the text. Strong colors including blue, purple, and gold with a few layers for the entire length of the parchment. Minimal staining. The beginning of the Megillah is attached to a wood cover for the eitz chaim (without the eitz chaim). Fine-very fine condition.
Megillat Esther scroll in silver case. Stamped: Jerusalem, 925. Customs stamps. Filigree. Jerusalem, 1950s. The megillah is written on polished parchment, 2 sheets. Scroll width: 6 cm, length: 150 cm. Eastern writing style. Case is nice filigree with decorations. Minor welding repairs. Fine condition.
Parchment Megillat Esther with uniquely decorated initial letters, Eastern Europe, 18th Century. Height: 35 cm.; about 270 cm. long. 4 “yeriot”, 13 columns, 22 lines. Nice, Ashkenazic scribal hand, unique and artistic: decorative flowers, crowns, towers, and animals at the beginning of the leaves, with additional decorations for Haman’s ten sons, the enlarged letters in the megilla (such as the letter ח in חור כרפס) are written in an especially artistic manner. The first “yeriah” is in moderate condition with holes in the letters, the other “yeriot” are in fine-moderate condition with a few holes in some of the letters.

Miniature Megillat Esther with ivory eitz chaim. Italy, 18th century.
Description: [1] Megillat Esther, ink on parchment. [37] columns, [6] lines. Parchment height 3 cm, eitz chaim height 14.5 cm. The top of the eitz chaim is designed in the form of a crown. Another original parchment is attached, 3×17 cm, with the blessing on the megillah reading.
Condition: Moderate-fine. Faded letters, stains. Adhesion in the upper part of the eitz chaim.

Parchment Scroll of Esther within an artistic, carved olive wood case. Jerusalem, end of the 19th century.
The case is 29 cm. tall. Olive wood. Nice, impressive carving work of the holy sites: City of Zion, Rachel’s Tomb, Temple Mount, Western Wall, Cave of Machpela, Samuel’s tomb and Yad Absalom.
The parchment is 10 cm. tall. 4 strips, 14 columns, 24 lines to each column. “Hamelech” megilla.
The first and last page of the parchment is blemished, with loss of text. The case is in very fine condition (new clasp).

The parchment is 12 cm. tall. 3 strips, 20 columns, 18 lines to a column. With a separate parchment with the blessings for the megilla, written by the same scribe. Expert scribal print, particularly nice.
The scroll is preserved within a rounded wood case with a picture of a house and trees, a woman, young man and woman in black.
The parchment and text are in very fine condition, other than light blemishes that were repaired on the first column. The text on the first two columns is slightly faded. The screw connection is weak.
Parchment Scroll of Esther within a silver case with filigree work. Apparently not hallmarked. 1930s.
24 cm. high; 5 cm. diameter. Beautiful filigree work along its length – delicate, without any losses. The top of the case is shaped like a crown. All the decorations are edged with small beads. Entirely complete.
The parchment is 56 mm. high. 7 parchment sheets, 22 columns, 14 lines to a column.
Excellent condition.
