On the title page: There are also some new amulets here – “expert person, expert amulet” for any bad event – fire, plague … from our rabbi, the Ar”i HaKadosh.
The book was printed by order of the Admo”r Rabbi Avraham Ya’akov of Sadigura. The one who brought it to print, Rabbi Yehudah Leibush Rapaport, wrote in the introduction that the Admo”r of Sadigura took amulets in the book from him, as did his father, the sacred tzaddik, Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, as did all his brothers, the tzaddikim. He also wrote that the sons-in-law of the Admo”r Rabbi Meir of Premishlan wrote that their father-in-law bought the amulets from him, and said that they are a great segulah for all disease and blemishes.
Rabbi Yosef Segal Landau of Iasi, close associate of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, also studied Kabbalah with him. It was he who pleaded with him to accept the rabbinate of Iasi. He wrote in the approbation that it is a protection from fire, rescue from plague, Heaven forbid, and from many other troubles. Rabbi Yeshayah Schorr of Chotin wrote in the approbation that the amulets are tried-and-true, and this book is an excellent protection for the home.
On page 32b, printed across the entire page: This amulet is for a plague, from the Ar”i HaKadosh; and on the book’s leaves are Kabbalistic diagrams and amulets.
With the Kabbalistic commentary for Shabbat hymns composed by the Ar”i, with the text of the hymns.
“Part I” appears on the title page:- but no more were printed.

Kitzur Likkutei Mohara”n ” from the first edition and the second edition … full of mussar, fear of G-d and proper conduct … that come out of the wondrous essays that are brought in the great work Likkutei Mohara”n. ” Printed without name and place of printing. [Zolkiew/Lemberg 1849?]
Early edition of the book Kitzur Likkutei Mohara”n , with a compilation of practical topics related to Divine service according to the order in Likkutei Mohara”n . In the book Yemei Moharana”t (p. 12, section 7), Rabbi Nathan of Breslov writes about this book: In the year 1805 … [Rabbi Nachman of Breslov] ordered me to compile the counsel and service that can be gleaned from each of his Torah thoughts … and this was good in his eyes, and this is the book Kitzur Likkutei Mohara”n . When he read from it, he waved his head and said these words: A shein tzeitel [a good note], and I understood that he was very pleased with what was written there … happy is he who possesses it.”
As stated, the book was printed without the name or place of print (as were many Breslov books of the 19th century, due to internal and external persecution, as is known) and bibliographers were perplexed as to how to record it. Scholar G. Scholem in his book Eleh Shemot (p. 33, no. 121) wrote that this edition was printed in Zolkiew or in Lemberg c. 1850, R. N. Tz. Koenig, in his book Neve Tzaddikim (p. 134) wrote: Zolkiew, 1849. The National Library lists: Zolkiew or Lemberg, c. 1855.

Printed without the name or place of printing [Zolkiew/Lemberg, c. 1840]. Extremely rare. Complete copy. (The copy in the Gershon Scholem Library is incomplete.)
Early copy of the two important and renowned books by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov: Sefer HaMiddot – about which Mohara”n said, “The book is a good friend! This book made me a Jew!” and regarding the book Shemot HaTzaddikim , Rabbi Nachman wrote in Sefer HaMiddot (entry: Tzaddik Part II, 20) “By mentioning Shemot HaTzaddikim , one can make a change in Ma’aseh Bereishit – that is, to alter nature.”
As stated, the book was printed without the name or place of print (as were many Breslov books of the 19th century, due to internal and external persecution, as is known) and bibliographers were perplexed as to how to record it. Scholar G. Scholem in his book Eleh Shemot (p. 23, no. 75) wrote that this edition was printed in Zolkiew or in Lemberg between 1846 and 1855, R. N. Tz. Koenig, in his book Neve Tzaddikim (p. 62) wrote that this edition was printed in Zolkiew in 1849. The National Library lists: Zolkiew or Lemberg, c. 1855.

Seder Tefillah L’Kol HaShanah im Kavanot HeAr”i – siddur in nusach Sephard with the Ar”i’s intentions and customs, intentions and unifications from the G-dly Ba’al Shem Tov, with glosses and “Dikdukei Sofrim” by the gaon Rabbi Shabtai of Rashkov, Koritz, 1794. First edition of Siddur Rabbi Shabtai . Incomplete copy.
This is the first Chassidic siddur! Just a few years after printing this siddur, siddurim began to be printed in an Askenazic version with the Ar”i’s intentions, and Chassidic tzaddikim began to pray from those. However, this is the first siddur in nusach Sephard that has unifications and customs from the Ba’al Shem Tov added to it.
Rabbi Shabtai of Rashkov, the renowned Kabbalist who was one of the members of the Ba’al Shem Tov’s “heichal, ” arranged the siddur according to the Ar”i’s intentions and with supplements from the Ba’al Shem Tov.
This siddur was very sought-after by tzaddikim, and even before it was printed, it was known and many yearned to pray from it. As the Ba’al Shem Tov’s disciple, Rabbi Yosef Moshe of Mezeritch, wrote in his approbation to this siddur, ‘I have already heard that many complete and reverent tzaddikim of our generation desire and yearn to quench their thirst and finally see this siddur, as it is so hard to find, especially as it contains several innovations and unifications from my rabbi and teacher, the light of the Jewish people … the Ba’al Shem Tov, ztzllh”h.’
We will note what has been brought, that Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin said that this siddur is his vitality. It is also related among Chassidim that the siddur’s manuscript was hidden in a lit oven and did not burn. [Refer to

… So that it will be in their homes for protection and an abundance of blessing and success…” (The tzaddik of Shtefanesht).
Ateret Tiferet Yisrael is a segulah work on the weekly Torah portions by Rabbi Yisrael b”r Rabbi Shlomo Charif, a disciple of the Ba’al Shem Tov. With many approbations – from the Admo”rs of Ruzhin, Chernobyl, Kossov, Tolna and others.
“This book is filled with holy Names and names of angels, capable of healing and protection from the four categories of damagers, and of granting a profusion of blessing and success, hence (the Rebbe of Ruzhin) says, in the purity of his language, that manuscripts by this author are capable of excellent protection and a profusion of peace and blessing” (from the approbation by Rabbi Avraham Ya’akov of Sadigura in the name of his father, the Rebbe of Ruzhin). The Admo”r Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Shtefanesht wrote: “So that it be in their homes for protection and an abundance of blessing and success.”
“The Admo”r Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl writes in his approbation: “I will also say this: Every person who buys this book for its set price can be assured in his heart that the merit of the author as well as the sanctity of the booklet will protect him, placing blessing in his home and protecting his wife and children and all the members of his household with complete health and success as in the good years, for blessing …”

“L-rd of the worlds, I know that I am in your hand just as clay in the hand of the potter”
Ohr LaShamayim , Chassidic work by the renowned Admo”r Rabbi Meir’l of Apta, the most prominent disciple of the Seer of Lublin, known by the name of this book, as ‘the author of Ohr LaShamayim .’ This book is the source of the famous prayer Ribbon HaOlamimim Yadati… [“רִבּוֹן הָעוֹלָמִים יָדַעְתִּי כִּי הִנְנִי בְּיָדְךָ לְבַד כַּחֹמֶר בְּיַד הַיּוֹצֵר”] – traditionally known as a segulah for sustenance. Complete copy with all of the leaves at the end of the book, including the approbation from his disciple, the author of Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
First edition of one of the most famous and important books of Chassidism. The book consists of Chassidic essays on Chamishah Chumshei Torah, compilations and segulahs (principally a segulah for livelihood, see for example the portion Balak, section 44, about the Three Weeks: “They are a segulah for livelihood … a golden compass … a pipeline and pool of blessing is there ..”) “as spoken by Rabbi Meir HaLevi, Av Beit Din of Stavnitz and Apta, as received from his teacher, Rabbi Ya’akov Yitzchak HaLevi [the Chozeh of Lublin].”
At the beginning of the book, after the introduction, there are several important prayers composed by the author of Ohr LaShamayim . The most famous among them is the prayer that begins Ribbon HaOlamimim Yadati … [L-rd of the worlds, I know that I am in your hand just as clay in the hand of the potter. And even if I attempt with counsel and tricks and all residents of the Earth stand at my side to save me and support my soul, without Your strength and Your assistance, there is no help and salvation.”] This renowned prayer, sung by one and all, was composed by Rabbi Meir of Apta, and it was printed here for the first time. His disciple, the author of Tiferet Shlomo of Radomsk, would regularly recite this prayer every day, in the evening and in the morning. He stated that it is a segulah for livelihood and success (how much more so, its recital from this sacred first edition).
This book states in the weekly Torah portion Balak as follows: There was a commentary in manuscript on the words “Where can Assyria take you captive, ” but it was omitted by order of the generation’s tzaddikim for concealed reasons … and indeed, in the approbation by the author’s son-in-law, Rabbi Menachem Mendel, rabbi of Gollnow, he writes that he was forced (by the Chassidic leaders) to leave out the commentary for this secret reason. Chassidic tradition maintains that the missing commentary stated that in 1962, redemption would arrive, and due to the fact that the book was printed over 100 years before 1962, they did not want it to be printed so that people would not despair of the redemption.
