The books are stamped “Rabbi Nathan Tzvi Friedman, Av Beit Din of Givat Shmuel.” (He was appointed rabbi of Shikun Heh in Bnei Brak in 1952). Written by hand on the first leaf: ‘B”H, I received this from the gaon, the author, shlit”a, via Rabbi Zelig Shapira, Shevat 1949.” (Similar inscription in Volume II.)
