A 5 shekel copper coin, 1986, with an error in the printing of the year. On the coin, underneath the number 5 is the detail of the year: 1986. The coin was issued between 1982-1985, the coin went out of circulation in 1985. It seems that the coin was issued in 1983 “תשמ”ג”, and that due to a mistake in the printing machine, the letter gimmel was recorded as a “vav”. Extremely rare.
Coin collectors do not known of another coin with this error, and it seems to be the only such coin in the world.
VF condition.
