Unique Features: The writer, Rabbi Yosef Schwartz, a student of Rabbi Shlomo Deutsch, relates that he went to Prague, the capital city, after his Rabbi’s death in order to learn from Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Rappaport, Av Beit Din of Prague, and then returned to his father’s house in Szeged, where he continued studying Torah diligently. He asks to present his novaelle on matters of halacha and Torah study before Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ullmann.
Background: Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ullmann, author of the responsa Yeriot Shlomo and Av Beit Din of Mako from 1826 until his death in 1863.
