Unique Features: This responsum deals with personal matters and is not found in his book Sheilat Shalom.
Background: Rabbi Shalom Taubash [1825-1889], Av Beit Din of Botsani from 1861, by whose name he is known. Author of Sheilat Shalom. Wrote many responsa, and was one of the greatest Rabbis of his generation. Son of Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke Av Beit Din of Iasi and son-in-law of Rabbi Chaim of Kolomyya, grandson and disciple of Rabbi Aharon Moshe Taubash Av Beit Din of Iasi and author of Karnei Re’em.
Condition: Very fine. Folding marks. The writing is slightly faded.
