About 100 leaves of various sizes, in various hands, written on both their sides, from the desk of Rabbi Kasher. The Torah scholar that looked through this collection made penciled notations on some leaves, such as this is Rabbi Kasher’s correspondence with Torah scholars in Poland [Rabbi Menachem Ziemba and others] and the content was printed in “Divrei Menachem”. There are various manuscripts here. It is unclear whether they are all copies that Rabbi Kasher made for himself from the original, or are there a number of autographs here?
There are also a number of leaves and booklets in different hands. We have not been able to clarify whether they have all been printed previously.
Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kahser (1893-1985) was a Torah scholar and Rosh Yeshiva who authored over 30 works on Torah subjects, including his comprehensive “Torah Shlomo”. He studied the Torah of the Rogatchover Rebbe.
Large collection of manuscripts; a challenging project for a manuscript expert.
To be sold as-is.
