The “The Committee for Denuclearization of the Middle East” was established in 1960 to prevent Israel’s acquisition of the atom bomb, out of fear that this would cause a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. Prof. Yeshayhu Liebowitz and Mapa”i MK Eleizer Livneh established the committee and were its most prominent spokesmen.
All the letters are in very fine condition.
