Beit Yehudah – Responsa on the four parts of Shulchan Aruch by the rabbi of Algeria, the sacred gaon Rabbi Yehudah Iyash – one of those who gave an approbation to the Ohr HaChaim HaKadosh .
The book includes “Dinei Minhagei Argiel” – early Algerian customs. This is the first time Algerian customs were printed. The song at the beginning of the book was written by the author in honor of his teacher [Rabbi Shlomo Yedidyah Tzror], who reportedly brought peace between the author’s parents, after which the author was born.
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of Rabbi Yehudah Iyash .
Owner’s signature on the title page. Three lengthy glosses in an old script on the leaves bearing the Algerian customs. The signature and the glosses have not been investigated.
