Rare quartets card game with Biblical verses, divided according to books of the Bible, in Hebrew and German. Frankfurt, 1920.
Explanatory card with the rules of the game in Hebrew and German and 48 playing cards. Each card bears the names of the series, the book of the Bible, and four verses belonging to the series.
This original idea for this game is the brainchild of teacher Simon Unna (1864-1931) who thought of a “calming” way to reach the youth. Due to its rarity, this game was digitalized by the Leo Baeck Institute in New York.
Original box with blemishes on its sides. The cards are in very fine condition.
