Sorcery (magic) is activity that is designed to influence reality using supernatural means. The term sorcery [כישוף] refers to rituals whose goal is to enact spells. The purpose of the sorcery or magic is to cause supernatural powers to affect the requester’s will, not through prayer, but with the use of supernatural means. This can be the will, for example, to bring or stop rain, for victory at war (or downfall of the opposing side), to cause another person to fall in love with the requester or to cause him/her to stop being infatuated with the person with whom s/he is presently infatuated.
Overall fine condition.
