Chassidic compilations collected by the Maggid of Kozhenitz’s grandson including Torah thoughts from the Besh”t, the Maggid of Mezeritch and some of his disciples, from Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev, and from his grandfather, the Maggid of Kozhenitz. On the back of the leaf of approbations there are “glosses on the kabbalistic work VaYakhel Moshe from a manuscript by the Maggid of Kozhenitz.”
First edition of the important Chassidic work which became very beloved among Chassidic leaders and was later printed in a number of editions. There are a number of variants of the book. This edition does not mention the printer’s name on the title page. See Stefansky, picture no. 244.

The Admo”r Rabbi Yosef Landau Av Beit Din of Jassi, author of Birkat Yosef [1791-1854] was a Chassidic leader, disciple of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev, Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, Rabbi Baruch of Mezhibuzh and the Rebbe of Apta.
