* Sha’ar HaKollel written by Rabbi Avraham David Lowot, grandfather of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The book is called Sha’ar HaKollel for the Chassidic tradition that there are twelve gates for prayer texts, a gate for each one of the twelve tribes, designated specifically for it. There is one gate called “Sha’ar HaKollel” which suits all Jews. The text selected and established by the Alter Rebbe is the “gate” that befits each and every Jew. Lacking title page and binding.
