Important collection of four announcements designated for Jewish residents of Ferrara, who were concentrated in the city’s ghetto. For hundreds of years, draconian laws and various restrictions were imposed on the Jews there, who were granted full rights only in 1859. This collection comprises authentic original documentation of the government’s approach to its Jews.
