Unique Features: The book was brought to print soon after the passing of the Noda B’Yehuda, with important approbations. A sticker was added to the rear side of the title page with a few corrections to the title page, introduction and approbations to the book.

Background: Rabbi Yerucham Yehuda Fischel Perla was born in Warsaw in 1846. He travelled to Lomza, to the yeshiva of the Maharil Diskin at a young age, and later studied from Rabbi Chaim of Brisk. A tremendous genius and expert in all fields of the Torah, he lived in Warsaw and refused to accept a rabbinic position. His work on Rabbi Sa’adya Gaon’s Sefer HaMitzvot contains a broad and in-depth discussion on each of the 613 mitzvot with a comparison to the opinions of all of the Rishonim who counted the mitzvot. In 1927 he immigrated to Israel. He passed away on the 30th of Shvat, 1934.
