27.5 cm. high; 8 cm. diameter. Unique item from Bezalel Jerusalem. Artisan work made from a shell case (made in Germany) from 1916. Etching work at center depicting the Biblical spies carrying a cluster of grapes, with Hebrew text. Decorated with a strip at the top with the Hebrew word “Jerusalem” surrounded by the seven species of the Holy Land. Decorated with these fruit on a bottom strip. This item is missing from the Israel Museum’s collection of similar vases. Fine-very fine condition.
