Rabbi Aharon Reuvein Charney was born in Poland in [1884] and served as Rabbi and preacher in Suwalk. In 1909, he moved to London and then to the United States. He passed away in 1968. Lengthy dedication in the hand of the author to his friend, Rabbi Zalman Tuvia [Markowitz]. Rabbi Zalman Tuvia Markowitz was the Rabbi of אנטאליפט, Lithuania and was killed in the Holocaust [Otzar HaRabbanim 18818].
