Background: Second edition of the responsa of one of the great sages of Salonika. A precise edition which was printed only five years after the previous edition.
Rabbi Yitzchak Adarbi [c. 1520-1572] , one of the rabbis of Salonika, studied under Rabbi Yosef Taitazak together with the Maharsham. He was appointed as a rabbi at a young age and led a Sephardic congregation – Kahal Shalom. He was the Av Beit Din and had firm opinions. He called his work Divrei Rivot due to differences of opinion between him and other rabbis, he also wrote Divrei Shalom which contains thirty sermons [Salonika, 1580].
Condition: Fine-very fine. A few aging stains. Professional margin completion on a few leaves. Especially magnificent leather binding.
