Efes Damim was edited by Yitzchak Ber Levinsohn, founder of the Haskala movement in Russia. The book was published in 1837. Upon the request of Sir Moses Montefiore and with his support, an English edition was published in 1841 in wake of the Damascus Blood Libel. Original binding. Fine condition.
