Esh Dat , “Hashem’s jealousy … [against] Nechemiah Chiya Chayun – transgressor, spoiler and uprooter of the principles of our Torah” by Rabbi David Nito. London, 1715. Only edition. Hebrew part only.
Polemic work opening with several “disputes” against books by the Sabbatean Nechemiah Chayun – Oz L’Elo-him (Berlin, 1713), Raza D’Yechuda (Venice, 1711) and Shalheveteihah (Amsterdam 1719).
The sefer is arranged in the form of a discussion between Dan [David Nito’s initials] and Naftali. Dan proves that Chayun’s doctrine is heresy and blasphemy, and Naftali speaks about the importance of true Kabbalistic doctrine.
